5 out of 5 stars Currently the best gfx card out there   May 14, 2007

I recently bought a PC with this graphics card installed an its incredible how well it runs the latest games. My old PC had an nvidia fx5200 which was pretty mediocre and struggled to run call of duty 2 on minimum settings. With this card in my new PC call of duty 2 now runs on full graphics at full resolution with everything on max, and it runs extremely fast. So far I have tried this with Stalker shadow of chernobyle, CoD1, CoD2, Medieval 2 total war and Hitman blood money. Medieval 2 looks so good with this card that you could easily see it from a distance and think it was a movie! Hitman is also very graphically demanding but runs no problem on full settings.

Overall I'd say this card is pretty much perfect. Although it's expensive it's well worth the money as it comes ready for direct X10 which all games will upgrade to in the near future. You won't have to check the box to see if games run, this card will destroy them! (not literally xD).

If you want to go the extra mile then order two and hook them up in SLI!!

So, if you do alot of gaming, particularly online then buy this card, you'll have an unfair advantage online due to the speed of the thing!

5 out of 5 stars WoW!!   January 6, 2008

I had 2 GEForce7800 GTX cards in SLI mode and decided to upgrade to this card and wow what a difference it makes! I'm not just refering to gaming but just how my PC works, its quieter and the PC seems to act more stable.

A couple more things, this card is Huge! I mean I have a gaming PC so the case is bigger than a normal PC and I still had to move my HDD to slot it in.
Also a minimum 550w power supply would be recommended depending what else is being powered on your PC.
And one more thing, this Nvidia card reqiures supplementary power and you have to connect it to TWO 6 pin connectors.

Enjoy!

5 out of 5 stars Great Card   January 14, 2008
Ordered this card in the eveningh and it was delivered next day. It was only just over 4 more expensive than else where it was not worth waiting to only save that much from some other supplier. Great card and can now play all games on as high a setting as I want. Now considering upgrading processor as that is now the limiting factor.
