Better than the first one! June 29, 2007 93 out of 94 found this review helpful
I have played the original Brain Training several times. I found that one to be better than all the other brain games allthough I did get bored of it after a while.
More Brain Training is much better as the games are a lot more fun,
One of my favourite games is th Masterpiece Recital where you have to play the keyboard in time with the music.
I think I will be playing it for quite to some time to come

i agree with the other reviewer, this game is much better than the first one, the games are fun. i like the paper scissors rock game. i still play the original brain training, but this one seems to have a lot more to it. i love it.
With Regards to the recognition of the word 'Scissors' January 6, 2008 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I bought this game a few days ago and have found it very very addictive, even our 14 yr old son, who said he didn't want the game, is playing it daily and says it's one of the best games he's got! Before I bought the game I read some reviews on Amason where people are having problems with the DS recoginizing the word 'Scissors'. Firstly, the instruction book says that it helps if people are not too close to the DS when speaking, and that women and children should speak in a slightly deeper voice, this is because the game recognizes mens voices better. But if there is still a problem recognizing the word 'Scissors' i'm sure this will solve the problem:- We have found that if we say the word 'Scissors' as though we have a lisp (ie. thithers or even fiffers) the word is always recognized. We found this out quite by accident when our son, who does suffer with a lisp, was having no problems at all. We tried it ourselves and it works!! Last of all I would recommend this game to anyone, young or old, who wants to have lots of fun exercising their tired brains and keeping them in good working order. I hope this is of help.
More Brain Training October 21, 2007 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I ordered more brain training in the post a few days ago with a nintendo ds lite. It came yesterday and i am really enjoying the game.
I have played on the first one at my friends house and loved it and because my dad wanted me to have a brain training game i chose this because the first one is good, this is meant to be better and id never played big brains academy. I also chose it because of its great reveiws and because you can play music. I LOVE MUSIC.
I like it because you can play the keyboard (thats the best game so far that i have been on) and you can solve many maths and english problems. I also like how sometimes when you log on you are asked to draw pictures or write acrostics, then when everyone who has an accopunt has finished you can veiw them.
Being able to play sudoko is a great feature and the totourials are great for people who have never played the game. There is also a begginer and intemeadiate levels that have tips and hints. You can use cheat mode but i find it easier without because you can make lots of mistakes not just 5.
I am a child but still love the game, so do my brother, mum, dad, and cousin. I am going to see my nan tommorrow and im hoping she will like it too.
I recomend this game to everyone. WHATEVER AGE!!!!!!!!
This a whole new way to use a game console July 17, 2007 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
OK - so I am behind. I never played the original brain training, and I only just bought my DS. I am 32. I have got tired of consoles and games. I recently played on my friends PS3, and yeah the graphics are great, but the gameplay on the games is the same old stuff it has been for the last 10 years.
Nintendo are changing all that. Just as they did back in the say of Game and Watch. Not only is the DS an innovative format with the stylus and two screens, but they are getting games released that will change gaming forever.
I love the way this game interacts with you. It keeps a track of real time, and is a genuine training assistant. If you log on at 11.50pm he says, my it's late, you know sleeping is good for you, if you come back day after day he congratualtes you. It is a very small detail, but it just makes the whole thing very personal.
The format works really well. Nice touches like for left-handed people it flips the whole thing round so you can easily play it.
The games are not graphical wonders, they are very clever and functional. They stretch you brain, just as they are supposed to, and you will find yourself competing with your personal bests to improve.
I haven't explored the whole of this game yet, as you keep earning extra features the more you play.
I congratulate Nintendo for bring genuinely innovates games and platforms out - and joy it is selling more consoles and games!
Buy this game as soon as possible.
