I got this for my boy after I bought the really good Pony World game from the same company. I am always worried about the kind of games my 8 year old in playing but this is just perfect - it teaches him all about dinosaurs - which he loves - but also helps him with his reading and maths. I would definately recommend this.

My 7 year old daughter loves dinosaurs so asked for this game seeing as the Dinosaur King game isn't out yet and couldn't wait to start playing. However, within an hour she said she was bored, she'd done it all and when I sat with her and tried the game, she just went through it, there wasn't anything to really challenge her, even in the hard level. She laughed at the easy level. Even the maths questions were too easy for her and apart from getting one or two wrong the dino quizzes weren't a real challenge for her either. The dino land is very restricted, there aren't actually many dinosaurs in it,you can't go that far and as she said, even the volcano surprise was boring. Try the game by all means but don't expect too much.
