Having played NHL Hitz Pro on the PS2 and thought that was good. When I got a PS3 and this game there is no comparison this is a great game. The controls are easy, the gameplay is good. You can cotrol anyone on the ice from the Net-minder to Enforcers to intimidate the other teams players. You can smash the glass, take out the referee, pick fights with the opposition, win the Stanley cup and other awards, negotiate contracts, scout new players. The game is great and if you like Ice Hockey as much as me it is well worth buying!

I thought this game would be rubbish as was sold with my console,
WHAT A MISTAKE,
The game is so much fun on 2 player mode or as a single player.

Hockey game that kicks puck! August 14, 2007
Very solid game with tremendous amount of value for money. Many different modes and extras. Season and Franchise gives the game an enormous amount of longevity and you can really work hard on getting your team to the top. On the negatives and after playing it regularly for some months, unlocking certain teams is a bit more challenging that needed. Also, some of the loading sequence gets a bit dull. Menus could have been a bit more animated. Practise challenges, Fighting and injury animation during the matches always ends the same way and some randomizing of graphics would make it a bit more enduring. I miss some of the gore from Sega's Hockey game but maybe this is because I have not unlocked 60's and 70's teams (one of the reasons why I still am playing the game :-))

I love sport game's and the graphics on this are something to glare at but they are axactly the same as the PC version.The downfall is this is gonna cost around 20 more.I'm guessing it's on a blu ray disk so if you do have a pc but don't have enough hard drive space PS3 will do.But then you can most likelly get a 20Gb hard drive for 20 anyway.
