Good for beginners who have no knowledge of the game though.

This guide is an essential piece of anybodys equipment who wants to go out and explore the world of Star Wars Galaxies.
Most of the information given is correct and very helpful even if some of it has been changed since the launch.

If you want help when starting out in SWG i would highly recommend this.

I bought this book with SWG back in November.
I was expecting something like what Piggyback produce for the Final Fantasy games a proper in depth look into the game.
I wanted it just to point me in the right direction so i wouldn’t waste any time doing pointless tasks etc
I thought this book would for example give detailed information on every profession and explain which would be the best ways to grind each profession to master them quickly and something like a detailed look into every creature in the game with a short description on how to defeat them ect but it doesn’t.

Alls it really does is tell you in short what each profession is with no tips or info on how to tackle them and pages of stats for armour and creatures with no detailed information what’s so ever. The rest of the book could of just been taking straight out of the SWG instruction book.

Also the game has changed quite a bit since this books release so
basically your paying for an Oversized out of date instruction book which is pretty useless.

The internet is the best source to use for any help you might need with this game.
