this works perfectly but it will only work with 8mb memory cards, this is not a fault of either the adaptor or PS3, the only reason this is so... is because the PS3 makes internal memory cards that can only hold 8000kb (8mb) at most, the way to get around this for your bigger cards is to either copy them to a 8mb card OR copy them to computer with special software which will partition the data and trick the PS3 that it has a 8mb one in it.... unfortunately this adaptor does not have this software but another one on this site does, made buy datel, just type in (Memory reader) in PC&Videogames to find it......

For those of us who're going from either of the previous Playstations up to the PS3, this thing is absolutely indispensable.
Not only can I just carry on playing any of my older games on the PS3, after I updated my system software, now I can write my saves back to the original memory cards to use on my friend's PS2 as well. And btw. I gather this last update also includes fixes for the PS1 that other users on here have complained so much about. - So seriously, what could be better than this?!
I'm giving this nifty li'l thing full house, no question, and I'm not reselling it - Just PERFECT!

The adaptor works absolutely fine with every single type of playstation memory card EXCEPT official PS1 memory cards. I only found this out when i stuck in an unofficial one and it worked fine despite my friends sayin it didn't accept PS1 cards. i don't think there's anything else to say about it, does the job.

It converts your PS2 memory into PS3 memory. Good. It WILL work on SOME PS1 cards, but I don't think it does it with official cards. It takes only a minute to do a card, so this is a safe and good buy for anyone with a PS2.

Worked fine, first time, no problems.
The only thing was, I kinda felt like I had paid a tenner for something I used for 30 seconds and then will never need again.
