i can't believe all the bad reviews this game is getting, it's well worth 30 quid it's more fun using a steering wheel though. i have had endless fun on this game so far. what are all you people on about!!!!

Easily one of the most enjoyable driving games to come along in a while. It's a nice change from previous NFS titles, that the driver has progress from street racing to compete in track meets. Personally I was getting bored of the whole getting chased by police antics. This is straight up driving to win. There's a reasonable variety of tracks and race types in there as well, so it keeps it interesting.
The graphics are as good as ever, the soundtrack is fantastic(obviously dependant on your music tastes - they can't please everyone), the controls are more realistic, the introduction of a clutch adds to the experience. When you move from racing say a BMW round the track to say a Skyline GTR, you feel the difference in the way they drive. The fact that you have to have different cars to compete and win is another nice touch.
The only things that bugged me were the announcers that talk rubbish 95% of the time while you are in the menu screen and how long things took to load due to autosave. The latter can be fixed by turning the autosave function off.
- All in all, a very addictive driving game, but a different animal from previous releases.

Need For Speed Pro Street is a whole different game. Just because controls are different doesnt make it rubbish u nerds....try being a true gamer and gettin used to things!! i think this game is such an improvement and something ill play for a long time to come.

Its much much different from the past NFS games in terms of the style of racing. You play as a racer who has progressed from the street racing and police dodging like in the past 2 NFS games and is now racing on the pro circuits to beat the kings of the pro racers.
The game does seem much easier like being able to regularly beat racers by 30 seconds a Race or 10 seconds a Drag although the drift has taken a turn for the worse loved it before hate it now was stupidly hard to score big points or even win sometimes.
One thing i was really disappointed with was not being able to design and customise my car as much as you could in previous NFS game. You just dont have as much cool vinyl or body parts to choose from and was a long labouring process to make your car look cool. (If that is even possible in this game)
Loved the fact that you'll need more one car for every type of racing event and the way you tune your car is much more in-depth and in a way was necessary if you want to win big time.
OVERALL loved the game was a cool change but was strictly racing no more fun sidelines like making your car look truly awesome or escaping police so has a shorter life span. From what i hear and read its much better on PS3 as well. But is still a much own game would recommend for beginners as well as pros.
