Really Great Tv on a Budget October 13, 2008

I was a bit sceptical and worried when there were no reviews of this model. Amazon wasn't alone with its lack of reviews either, I couldn't find one anywhere on the internet.
I eventually took a chance and bought this TV based on the reviews of the 19 inch model and was not disappointed. This TV is fantastic, great connectivity, excellent picture, good sound. I can't think of any bad points, possibly the fact that it doesn't swivel on its stand left to right could be a minor fault for some but not me.
All in all I am really pleased with my buy, it is a perfect size for a bedroom, the picture is great in analogue, digital or on DVD.
Amazon's delivery was fantastic also, I paid for the Express delivery, ordered Late Thursday night and had it setup by Lunch time on Saturday.

Great tv for the money. Easy to set up.
Make sure you have a good outdoor aerial for digital.

Perfect PC Laptop extension Monitor and TV October 13, 2008

The reception for Digital Free-view plus Laptop Monitor is excellent. I am very pleased with this Polaroid 22" TV. I was initially influenced by the positive reviews for the 19" version, so considered the 22" would be fine.
The TV was supplied with many HDI audio cables but no direct cables for either aerial or audio connection for the laptop, but I soon purchased these. Now I have both excellent surround sound plus clear quality picture.
I am impressed by the screen input menu, remote control and auto-tuning.
Although I bought an indoor boost aerial I found that the only suitable digital signal was obtained by linking into my main TV aerial socket. This was achieved by an inexpensive coax cable connected to this TV via a twin outlet booster module.
I had joined the Amazon Prime trial option which gave me delivery the next day. with nil delivery charge.
The TV is an excellent purchase, in a lovely white case, lots of rear sockets for many input applications, as well as sockets for extension speakers.
As a PC monitor it is excellent.

What a fantastic product. The 22" screen is plenty big enough and the quality of the picture is stunning. The tuning is miraculous. Comet told me I was NOT in a Freeview area - and yet after an easy auto tune I am able to watch almost 100 channels!!! Picture quality on all channels is amazing and theres a great 'what's on' guide available 24/7 at the touch of a button. I love quality products and this tv fits all my standards. If you are in any way thinking about buying an LCD tv - especially one a bit different from the vast army of over-sized black things - this is for you.
You will not be disappointed.
The Polaroid TLU-02243WX gets 10/10 from me.
Amazon too deserves 10/10 for convenience, price and speed of delivery.

I too wondered if quality would have been compromised by the low price, however I am absolutely delighted with this TV.
It was incredibly easy to set up, the reception on digital is the best that I have had with any freeview product and the picture and sound quality second to none.
The TV comes with loads of cables so you can hook up all sorts of audio/video devices to it. The TV picture can be adjusted easily for picture quality and sound quality (eg vivid or speech) etc.
I would definitely buy a Polaroid TV again and can unreservedly recommend this to others.
