The switch box itself is tiny (9cm wide x 1.7cm thick x 7.1cm deep)! It does have a very plasticy feel to it but still seems well built regardless. The best thing about this switch box though which I didn't know beforehand is that it can be powered by USB! Now that is a nice feature for me. I currently have my Virgin Media V+ box powering the switch box via the USB at the back.
There is also an extender for the IR remote so you can hide the box away somewhere behind the TV etc.
Currently this box is working perfectly well with a Sony PS3 and the V+ box at both 720p and 1080i.

Although the form factor isn't perfect - it's not boxy A/V shaped so won't fit in with your other components easily - the Infrared Extender and Remote Control (yes, it even includes a basic remote control at this price!) mean that you can hide it away from view. I attached the Infrared extender to the bottom of my TV for neatness.
Being able to supply power to the unit via the included USB cable is excellent. It means that I can power the unit from the USB ports on front of my Toshiba HD DVD player. You can power it from the mains as well though, so don't worry.
10/10 for value!

Bought this to connect up my recently purchased PS3 to my Samsung 26" LCD TV. I haven't tried any other switches, so nothing to compare it to, but it seems to do everything stated. It appears well made, looks a little plasticy, but can be hidden out of view and used with the supplied remote. Can be powered by adapter, but power via USB is a huge bonus and the USB cable is also included. Box states that it is HDCP Compliant, 1080p compatible and causes zero signal loss.
Seems an ideal solution, especially at the price.

I bought this device to link between my 12 month old Sony Bravia (KDL-32V2000) a Sky HD box and a PS3. Some people seem quite critical of how this device works for them but they dont say what equipment they are using. The box works excellently well for me, with no (and I mean no) loss in picture or sound quality, and I am only using standard cables (albeit quite short 1.5M). The fact is the picture quality should be excellent coz the digital technology works on an all or nothing principle, unlike analogue which is subject to losses and interference. Just be aware of that fact before you pay mega-bucks for high quality cables, given that your TV and the other divces probably come with non gold plated sockets (ie: the cables are only as good as the devices they are plugging in too).
I came close to paying nearly 3 times the price for a similar product but I am so glad I found this. Its much smaller and easy to hide out the way than the other switchers I have seen coz it comes with an added remote sensor. Believe me, this device is as good and if not better than the other HDMI switchers (given the huge price difference) on the market. Cant recommend this product enough.
My only critisism is that the HDMI sockets are quite close together so people using expensive cables with large plugs may struggle to locate them side by side.

This is an excellent little box. You cannot beat the value you are getting. I had looked at similar items from Keene electronics and other AV accessory companies and for a 3way box the typical price seems to be circa 125-150! This does exactly the same job with no signal loss and carries full bandwidth signals.
Unlike one of the other reviews posted i have had no problem putting 2 HDMI cables side by side in inputs 1 & 2. I use QED Qunex cables (HDMI-P and HDMI-SR) and they fit fine.
In short - if you need more HDMI inputs, don't be fooled by other products and spend a fortune, this product does exactly the same job.....and does it well!
(even better was i got it for 29.99 from Amazon, price seems to have gone up now)
