LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures takes the fun and creative construction of LEGO and combines it with the wits, daring and non-stop action from the original cinematic adventures that enthralled audiences everywhere (Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade). With a unique tongue-in-cheek take on the original adventures, LEGO Indiana Jones follows Dr. Jones escapades through the jungles of South America to the mountaintops of India. Fans can build, battle and brawl their way through their favorite cinematic moments, from Indy's entanglements with snakes to his dashing boulder run. Of course, pop culture's most iconic archeologist will whip through all the classic moments with the help of a host of supporting characters including Marion Ravenwood and Short Round. Players can also mix and match the body parts of more than 60 playable characters to create new heroes just as they could in the best-selling LEGO Star Wars games.

Very Enjoyable! June 8, 2008 13 out of 14 found this review helpful
Well what can I say, this is one of the most enjoyable games I have played on the PS3, don't get me wrong the graphics won't blow you away, but is very good fun. The format is identical to the Lego Starwars games where two characters with different skills fight there way through each level. The levels are spread across all three original films and are very charming following the films well. The levels can also be a tad challenging in places where you must solve puzzles to gain access to bonus aress too. The best aspect is by far the multiplayer action, where you can have a friend help you through the game. Like the starwars games the game can be replayed again and again using different characters to find all objects in the levels to unlock bonus areas. After playing the game I can say that there isn't any bugs as of yet, so all is well there. I'd recomend this game to anybody who enjoyed the Lego Starwars games, general gamers and fans of Indiana Jones. It's a great game at a reasonable price too.
WOW June 6, 2008 13 out of 15 found this review helpful
Bought this game tonight after my 6year old begged me to! I always check the reviews on here and after seeing the 2* review below i told my son who said he still wanted it - i however was rather put off!
We have not spotted any of the bugs in the review below!
What a fun, great game where we can both bond in the 2 player mode! We have only had it for 4hours and we have had 4hours of fun!
Buy this game...i think it is equal to lego star wars...and allows me to spend time playing with my son who obviously cannot play call of duty or GTA 4 with me.
Its not just for kids so even though i am 27 i dont have to pretend to like it like i do with most of my sons games!
RECOMMENDED!

No Bugs Here June 8, 2008 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
Bought the PS3 version as a joint present for niece/nephews (12 & 14 respectively). They have been playing it since Friday and today I luckily got a go on it while they were having dinner. It is hilarious - love the fact you can play in different Indiana Movies and the facial expressions on the lego characters are so right.
After they unceremoniously removed me from playing I asked if they'd had any problem with bugs that have been mentioned here. They said, and I quote "the only bugs we're having probs with are the one in the game especially those red spiders that pop out of nowhere!". I also never had any problems in the couple of hours that I went on it. If your a lover of the Lego games this is definitely worth having in the collection. A lovely addition to the Lego Starwars game that we all love so well.
Tons of fun for everyone July 8, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I never thought I would like this game, looked silly & childish, but my husband bought it for me so I had to give it a go and I'm so glad I did. So much fun to play, you can play out all 3 of the classic films in story mode with the original characters and once you've completed the level you can come back and play in free play with any character from the trilogy and collect all the collectibles and tidy up the levels which is so much fun and gives hours of entertainment. Loads of extra fun things to do, collectibles, bonus levels, post boxes to collect that give you power ups and silly extras, tons of extra characters to unlock, all in all terrific fun. Challenging enough to keep you playing, but not too hard to make you give up. And the best part is there are always two characters playing on screen so you can play with a someone else and work together, which is brilliant as I hate two player games were you have to compete with each other. Also includes the trailer for the new Lego Batman game which looks great too.
Great fun for kids August 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I brought this game for my two boys who are both under 7 and they absolutely love it.
The game is obviously aimed at kids as the difficult level so far has been about right for my eldest. The levels are great fun as they can run around, collect coins, destroy things and occasionally solve the puzzles. With the free play option, all the chapters can be played over again and will enable your kids to search for the secret treasure, etc.
The graphics although not spectacular really do suit the game which I think does add to the feel. There are also little things that make my kids laugh, like Indy cowering when he goes near snakes. The one point I have against the game is that it only saves at the end of the chapter. But this is only minor as I can get through a chapter in 10 minutes(ish)
I have to say that if you are after a game for kids this has got to be a must.
