Please if you own a ps3 download the demo off the PSN store first since my brother had the demo and hated the game where i loved it, so it's a case of what sort of games your into and also if you think it lives up to the show. to be honest i think this will be another hit and run episode of where people will love and people will hate it so download first. by the way due to what a guy above said it doesn't take the mickey out of god of war since this is a sony computer entertainment game not a EA game.

The Simpsons Game is going to be fantastic with over 80,000 lines of dialouge from the shows cast and people from the show and movie writing the script for the game you can't go wrong.
In the first level of the game the simpsons relaise (from the help of professor frink) that they are living in a video game and then the whole level is discovering their powers and what they can use them for. Powers are at end of review.
The We Go to the next level which is dedicated to the treehouse of horror halloween special episodes. And Bart and Homer must stop every evil monster from a huge liveing donut sign to an army of evil krusty dolls.
Then many more levels come up as paodys of ea games such as MEDAL OF HOMER (medal of honour) and GOD OF WHARF (god of war) and MOB RULES (based on all war strategy games. Overall seems a very enjoyable video game with lots of hidden easter eggs for the true fans of the show.
HOMER POWERS
Burp - Take in a big fat whiff of Springfield air and let loose a tasty little burp to temporarily stun your enemies. Breathe in, burp out!
Mega Burp - When regular belching just isn't enough, uncork the mother of all burps to permanently dispose of your attackers. Homer's power meter must be at full strength to use this mighty weapon.
Homerball - Keep eating to transform Homer into the ultimate lard-butt. Tub-o'-lard Homer is guaranteed to wreak a super-sized dose of havoc on anyone who gets in his way.
Helium-Homer - Snatch up enough helium tanks to inflate Homer into a huge balloon. The gas doesn't last forever, so take care of your enemies quickly and watch out for rough landings
Gummy-Homer - Be on the lookout for the rare Gummy Venus DeMilo. Armed with this precious treasure, you can turn Homer into a sugary blob of earthshaking destruction!
Insanity Pepper - Sure to add excitement to any adventure, this super-hot Guatemalan spice transforms Homer into a ball of molten lava. Homer is not only hot, but he's invincible, too.
BART POWERS
Slingshot - Master Bart's slingshot to pelt enemies from a safe distance. There's a lot of ammo lying around, so keep your eyes open for new opportunities to do even more damage.
Slingshot Power Shot - Charge up Bart's slingshot to give this handy little device even more oomph. Be sure to take a few seconds to check out the cool shockwave as it devastates all surrounding enemies.
Bartcape - When donning the Bartcape, Bart can parachute safely from high places and even soar across vast distances. It's a bird, it's a plane ... no, it's Bartman, you dummy.
Bartman Hookshot - Every superhero needs a good grappling hook. Bartman can use his trusty Hookshot to lift out of trouble, find cool stuff in high places, or just get a better view.
Bartman Zipline - There's nothing like a zipline to escape from enemies, travel quickly from one place to another, or blow-dry the heck out of your hair.
RoboBart - Armed with this amazing power-up, Bart can temporarily transform into RoboBart, a robotic version of himself that shoots precision laser beams capable of felling enemies in a single blast.
LISA POWERS
Sax Stun - Lisa's talent on the saxophone is quite stunning ... literally. Eventually she can even learn to play delightful tunes that cause her enemies to turn on each other.
Sax Cyclone - When Lisa fully charges her saxophone powers, she can unleash a spinning hurricane of sound, taking out groups of enemies in one tuneful swoop. Oh, what music she can make.
Hand of Buddha - Look for special meditation ports where Lisa can summon the Hand of Buddha. She can use this mighty hand to lift things and decorate the environment to her liking.
Hand of Buddha Flick - Lisa can use the Hand of Buddha to flick enemies into each other, into objects, and all the way across the screen if she so desires.
Hand of Buddha Ice Attack - How cool is this? Lisa can use the Hand of Buddha to freeze her foes into big blocks of ice and then pick them up to use as weapons.
Hand of Buddha Lightning Attack - When the going gets real tough, Lisa can cry like a baby, or she can summon the almighty Hand of Buddha to unleash a venomous lightning strike.
Clobber Girl - Collect the rare Clobber Girl comic book to turn Lisa into the one-and-only Clobber Girl, a super-strong superhero who can pummel enemies and objects alike with one all-punishing blow.
MARGE POWERS
Mob Control - When Marge gets on the megaphone, she can rally the mob to gang up on enemies, build cool stuff, destroy public property, and more. Who would have thought she could be such a tyrant!
Megaphone Sonic Attack - Marge can equip her megaphone with a thunderous sonic boom that's hard on the ears and knocks the crap out of all enemies in the area.
Marge Cop - The police officer's cap transforms well-mannered Marge Simpson into a super-bad cop. The cap gives Marge amazing strength and makes her mob even more dangerous by arming them with rocks.
MAGGIE POWERS
NOT MANY POWERS AT ALL BUT USEFUL FOR CLIMBING THROUGH AIR VENTS.etc.

Ok guys, stop arguing above, the simpsons game is amazing, my dad gt it for me from america a week ago, it's fun and 16 fun pack levels i'm only on level 3, (lard lad by the way) the graphics on the PS3 are amazing anyway

I thought the simpsons game was absolutely brilliant! it had great graphics, storylines, jokes, clips, episodes and even collectables with comic book guys cliches. It took the mickey out of other video games and in doing so created a great video game. It addictive and i couldnt stop playing it. The powers are great as well with Bartman, Robobart, Lisas saxophone and hand of bhudda, Marge rioting against grand theft scratchy, Mayor quimbys bribe, the tree cutters, the natural history musuem, the eating contest, alien invasion and the parralel video game world. It features all the characthers you could think of and the chance to go out and explore Springfield it has everything a tv show, movie and video game should have crammed into one full box of endless laughter and entertainment. Well done Simpsons gang you have done it again with your wonderfully weird inventions such as super burp and homer ball! well done.
