The Xbox 360 headset is well worth the money in my opinion and my headset has lasted for ages!! You can talk to enimies, discus team strategy, taunt people and generally have a good old chat with a friend who happens to be online at the same time as you. I used to keep getting killed by hidden dangers, now I can alert other people of these dangers and likewise they can alert me. If you thought your consol was good, it just got better. Having a headset adds a whole new dimension to your gaming experience or atleast, it did for me. This is a great buy. If you want to get more out of your Xbox 360, this would make a very good start! One thing I should mention, the headset only plays voice through the ear-peice, normal game sound comes through the TV still.

This headset is alot more comfortable than the headset for the original xbox.
Using voice improves gameplay by 10x so it is definitely well worth it
It is rather flimsy but my hasn't broken and i've had it for about a year now.
Anything will break if you don't take care of it.

Can't really understand some passionate reviews about a headset???
"don't buy it", please???, what gives? this is a headset, it isn't good or bad, it's a simple headset!, it behaves like one, it looks like one, and believe me it isn't nothing more nor less than, an... headset!

the headset works perfectly on X360 games, however it can be a little quiet when playing on old xbox games. it is durable, but i prefered the original xbox headset as it is comfier
