Product Description This aerial provides a very good quality reception beating many aerials that are 3 and 4 times the price. It comes with its own integrated power spply but it can also be powered from a 12V supply - so will work in a caravan or boat If it doesn't work for you because of the signal in your area, we always offer you a complete refund.

Boat not included February 4, 2008 20 out of 24 found this review helpful
In case you're concerned about the other Strand aerial (minus the built-in amplifier) getting all the 5-star attention - don't panic! Thanks to this (plus a small modification of my own), I am now receiving every Freeview channel available where other aerials and booster combinations failed. I liked the fact that you can plug it straight into the mains without the need for a bulky external 12v DC adapter, however there's a 12v DC input socket if you wish to use one, for say on a boat (not supplied). Furthermore, there's an input for an additional aerial on the back of the unit to add to the signal reception if you need it, although I understand that if you are in certain areas with multiple transmitter coverage, there is the possibility of interference if your aerials are trying to tune to the same channel coming from different transmitters, so I wouldn't advise you separate your signal inputs too much (keep all your aerials in the same room for example). What I did was to simply plug a spare telescopic whip (with a BNC/coax adapter you can buy via Amazon) straight into the back - thereby keeping it all in one unit - so I now have not two but three whip aerials of varying lengths all pointing in the same direction horizontally to the Crystal Palace transmitter, as well as the circular one resembling a dish with it's plastic cover on. Result? 100% rock solid reception. Not only that but at this price it's incredible value for money and some might say it looks rather cool too.
Works great April 11, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Felt I should write a review, as I felt that it was a bit of a risk buying one of the cheapest models just on the strength of its reviews.
When I initially hooked it up to an analogue TV, it was pretty disappointing. However, I'd bought it to pick up freeview for my new BT Vision Box, and the reception is great! Get all the main channels (it picked up around 55ish I think) and the quality is great.
So I'd say it's worth trying this out, and not forking out the extra cash for some of the more expensive models.
cheap and working fabulous February 29, 2008 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
I got my freeview box and it did not work when i plugged it into the rooftop aerial. My neighbour told me I should get myself an indoor one so I bought this one. It arrived, I plugged it in, and i have all channels working. It is the cheapest and it works just perfect. I should have done that years ago.
Bargain price - good performance April 10, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am in a weak freeview area and could only pick up 2 digital channels using my external aerial (which is not a digital one). Using this indoor aerial I can now receive a dozen or more freeview channels on TV upstairs. The performance of this aerial is very good for the price, and I am very pleased with it.
Excellent aerial, much better than some more expensive models April 7, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Ordered this item one day and it was delivered the next day, excellent service from the seller.
I've rated it as five stars because it does what i ordered it for faultlessly. It provides freeview reception superbly with the internal booster cranked up about half way, turn the boost down and you lose the signal - to be expected.
Used in an upstairs bedroom where previous attempts at freeview reception had failed miserably i'm very impressed.
