This is a great book if you take questing seriously. Someone compared the Wow gaming area to be the size of Switzerland .. and it is a big game indeed.

Adventurning on your own and discovering new places is of cause a large part of the game, but i still find myself stuck searching for hours, trying to find that elusive mob that should be located "north of crossroads" somewhere.

This is where this great book shows its worth. Half the book is area/city maps and the other half is a large alfabetic index so you can quickly get the right location on the map grid. Sometimes the index also give you a small hint like "blow horn" or "behind tree".

Book also have a handfull of pages listing placement of profession NPC, vendor, flight and those rare and hard to find mobs.

Best of all, this book dont SPOIL the game at all. Its is NOT a quest-killer or walktrough, it is NOT a list of vendor-items being sold, it is NOT a faction list or a gold making book .. and thank ye gods for that.

Just a nice Atlas that will help you when you get stuck or cant remember the location of one of the 1000+ places or people.

This hardback atlas contains beautifully produced maps of all the warcraft areas and hand drawn maps of all city and outpost areas.

It has a detailed index of all NPC's and vendor, trainers, resources etc.

The quality of the binding and printing is very good.

This is a must have book for all warcraft players and would not look out of place as a coffee table piece.

If you want a wow reference then this is the one to choose.

This book is great, the maps are very helpful as is the NPC placements listed for each area. I shall definatly find this helpful.

My only complaints are the fact that no dungeons are listed, the book would have been better of waiting until after the release of Burning Crusade and its awkward to tell which vendors are horde or alliance on the main map pages.

(only had the book 20 minutes - first reaction)

What it does is done well, the print is clear and the maps are nice.

The full index of NPC locations is useful, as is the quick list of class and profession trainers.

My only real criticism is that there are no maps for instance dungeons, which would have made it much more useful.
