I was just loaned this film by a friend at church, and although I didn't expect much from it, I was pleasantly surprised! It is an uplifting story of what can happen when you lean on God alone. Although it was made mostly by amateurs, you would never know, and has the production values and acting of any Hollywood blockbuster. This has gone straight into my top ten! I'm buying it now!

In six years of coaching, Grant Taylor has never led his Shiloh Eagles to a winning season.
After learning that he and his wife Brooke face infertility, Grant discovers that a group of fathers are secretly organizing to have him dismissed as head coach.
Devastated by his circumstances, he cries out to God in desperation. When Grant receives a message from an unexpected visitor, he searches for a stronger purpose for his football team.
He dares to challenge his players to believe God for the impossible on and off the field.
When faced with unbelievable odds, the Eagles must step up to their greatest test of strength and courage.

Durant ses six annees de football collegial, l'entraineur Grant Taylor et ses Shiloh Eagles n'ont jamais connu une saison gagnante.
Apres avoir recu confirmation de son infertilite et decouvrant qu'un groupe de peres organise secretement une rencontre, pour le faire r'envoyer de son poste d'entraineur principal, aussi pour une fameuse octroi de subvention, decourage il se confie a son epouse Brooke.
Devaste par les circonstances, dans son desespoir, il pousse des cris a Dieu. Quand il recoit un message d'un visiteur inattendu qui le poussera au defi, c'est alors qu'il trouvera une nouvelle direction pour son equipe de football.
Il defi ses joueurs de croire en Dieu, Qui peut realiser l'impossible sur le terrain et en dehors du terrain.
Une fois confrontes a de plus grand defis, les Aigles doivent intensifier force et courage, devant cette manne incroyable.
Ce qui transpire de cette histoire de football dynamique, c'est le combat entre la foi et la crainte.
Courage Face Aux Geants (Facing The Giants) est une experience puissante pour les cineastes, qui inspire des familles entiere a vivre la foi, l'espoir et l'amour !

It was an excellent film on all levels!!! A tremendous and outstanding movie with excellent visual imagery and sound storytelling. The audience I viewed it with were completely rooted to their seats and would not move until the film was finished!! For a movie produced on such a small budget coming out this good is nothing short of a glorious miracle in and of itself. I would encourage anybody to buy it and see their life changed for the better. If anything you will be inspired with a new level of hope and faith in Life again.
A quality christian movie? May 15, 2008
Just when you thought that the only kind of movie church people could make was a badly acted, poor production values, cringemaking bomb, someone comes along who turns that all upside down. This is a genuinely moving story, well made, excellent production values, as well as being highly entertaining. You'll laugh, cry...well just buy the movie and find out for yourself. I've actually bought extra copies to give away.
Great Film June 4, 2008
An excellent film, and the best Christian film I've seen. It has a strong message of faith overcoming fear, but in the context of American football which is very watchable, and it's good to see such good and wholesome viewing in an age where films so many films seem to focus on violence/sex. A very good one for youth in particular!
