Brilliant pad! Way more comfortable than the official PS2 pad, and works amazingly too! Batteries seem to last for ever. My only complaint, is that the analog buttons aren't quite sensitive enough for some games, but they still work great!
Please do yourself a favour, and buy this pad, it's way better than the overrated official pad.

This controller is virtually identical to the original wired sony dual shock 2 controller when you compare the layout and spacing of buttons and sticks, size of grip etc. Weight is heavier due to the 2 AA size batteries it uses (supplied). If you like the feel of the original controler this will probably suit you. There is no detectable lag in use and the convenience of getting rid of the cable really has to be tried to appreciate just how pleasant this is to use. Vibration can be switched on or off by a button on the controller. There is nothing to set up, you plug the receiver/transmitter bit into the controller port, put the batteries in the controller and use it! No on/off switch to bother about as the controller automatically switches on and off as the playstation is powered up. All in all, just like the Dual Shock2 but without the cable.

This controller is great maybe even better than the original sony ones, but be aware that the little receiver gets in the way on the newer slimline ps2!!!

Fantastic remote controller for PS2. Comfortable to use, excellent response, great range for signal.
Only niggle is that our auto switch off doesn't always work when we store it be the tv - so easy solution is we take the batteries out between uses to conserve them. Sometimes it goes to sleep when unattended (liek when we watch DVD's on the PS2) but pressing the mode button wakes it up instantly.
Very happy and would recommend. Wire free is a joy and game playing is even better!

I'm not really one for console peripherals. I have had my PS2 for a few years now, however when looking at how poor the next gen software still is decided to stay with PS2 for another 12 months and buy some extras which included this. One word... excellent. Totally responsive, feels great, is not too heavy either. Highly recommended.
