This game is just pure fun. I haven't got any problems with bugs
or any freezing...
The multiplayer is the best ever and the map is so big!
this is the game of the year (maybe game of the century)

How can anyone diss this game its bloody amazing! Instead of playing the game for a few hours and getting bored with everything why don't you go explore or GO AND DO MORE MISSIONS!! This game really opens up when you get further in the story.
For the people who want more than previous games why don't you just arse about for an hour or two and see what this really has to offer. All the tiny little details they've added are phat, just the cracks in the wall when you hit it with a car had my jaw dropping. Flying through windscreens, hotwiring cars, actually banging a ho rather than just sitting next to her, the amazing aiming system, lobbing bricks, donuting till your tyres go bang, the little back hand slap he gives someone when jacking a car from the passenger side, the overall realism and so much frickin more!!
The characters are great aswel, not just cool cos they got a well known actor for the voice. Niko is the ****. He's a stone cold killer and you just know its gonna get better with time when he opens up more and finds that "special someone" he's been looking for.
Please people just give this game a chance its only been out a week and you really can't make a claim by doing some 10% of the story. And after that if you really ain't happy with it, you deserve a firm pimp slap up the side of your damn head for being so dumb and passing up a truly amazing masterpiece. Hardcore fans that don't like this really must have something wrong upstairs, playing your fancy Oblivion crap or comparing it to the old PS2 series (if you want a gym get off your fat arse and go). I think alot of respect is due to rockstar, they constantly battle to get great games on the market and all people can do is moan.
If you don't like it, don't slate it, cos theres many more lovers out there than you haters!

in previous gta's i used to only do the missions when the island i was on got boring (i found it far more entertaining to drive around shooting everything and everyone) but this game i instantly was drawn to the storyline and the missions involved in the game!! bugs what biugs my version has never frozen nor crashed it loads extremly quick and doesnt even clicth (i fear its the old xbox crew that are saying that it does freeze) the graphics are awesome, and the gamplay is even better the onyl downside is the lack of decent radio stations. liberty city stories with msx98 was the best radio station about, on this game however the music is poor but there area few goodens.

this is by far the best game that has come out on the ps3 so far. They have maximised what the ps3 can do, online play can be up to 16players,
the city is much larger than previous gta titles, i suggest u get in a helicopter and head for sky, admire the view and the size of the city then come back at night and do it all again!
the use of the mobile phone is superb,when u enter multiplayer mode u can send messages to ur firends to invite them to join your game and in the game u can call your friends via the mobile (headset needed), and much more...
the only game that cold be better than this is Metal Gear Solid 4???...

I finally completed Niko's story after an emotional and unforgettable journey over the best part of May 2008. Now I'm tired and want to go to bed (it's 10pm). You could pick the game apart and concentrate on its many flaws, you can be disappointed about the odd graphical shortcoming here and there. Yes, the game is often morally redundant and the level of humour and dialogue is aimed at the schoolboys who aren't supposed to be playing the game. True, the characters are two dimensional stereotypes and the so-called choices you make concerning them in the game actually have little impact. The lack of checkpoints in missions may lead to frustration, and earning all the money from them and not actually having all that much to spend it all on seems rather pointless. It's not the revolution for the franchise that some expected and is lacking in the scope of the previous entry, GTA San Andreas. But GTA IV overcomes all this to offer one of the best playing experiences of this generation and (arguably) the best GTA to date. To play it is to live it. If everyone hadn't already bought it there might even be a point to this review.
