It turns out the 360 version of GTAIV is full 720p with 2xAA, while the PS3 version is upscaled from 1120x630 (630p). That's around 30% more pixels on 360. Source: Beyond3D tech forum.
Regardless, both versions are 10/10.

Theres not much more to say after reading all the reviews other than i think its fairly safe to say this is a very very good game!ive only played it for about 4 hours and have to say im hooked already. The other games in the series were cool but this one is just in another class , its fun,violence, love , hate . its lots of things all rolled into one. you go on dates you steal cars you rob people and go buy new clothes. you can play darts ,ten pin bowling and lots more. its several games all in one. gorgeous graphics and sound(especially in sourround sound. it feels like you are there)
Anyway,what are you doing reading this. go out and buy it now! if you cant afford to buyit. sell your other games and then buy it. Its that good!!!!!!(well,maybe id keep gears of war, but sell the rest:-)

I have played some excellent games in the past, but none are as good as this one. I have played it on both the 360 and Ps3 and hae to say that it is slightly better on the 360.
Niko Belic is my favourite main GTA character to date, I never liked the gangstaness of San Andreas. The cutscenes are so funny and the acting is brilliant.
Visually it looks very nice, not the best graphics in a game but it still looks pretty sweet thanks to that fancy lighting. It Looks slightly better on the 360 thanks to the better anti-aliasing, and the colour is better. The PS3 version looks slightly over contrasted and the textures do not look quite as sharp, also I noticed the PS3 version does slow down a bit more (some of it may be down to the TV set i played it on)
The Radio stations are as good as ever with a good mix of rock, pop, R&B and Dance.
DO NOT LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE WHO GAVE IT A 1, 2 or 3 out of 5 because they have only probably played it for about 3 minutes or so. I have the 360 version and have played it for over 10 hours and I have played the PS3 one about 3 hours.

THE BEST AND MOST ENJOYABLE GAME EVER, A MUST BUY. GREAT GRAPHICS, GREAT STORY, AND AMAZING DRIVING.(IGNORE PEOPLE WHO SAY THE DRIVING IS RUBBISH, ITS JUST THEM THEMSELVES WHO ARE RUBBISH)

I think this is the best game ever. I have played Bioshock, Halo's, Gears Of War, Metal Gear Solid's, Unreal Tournament's, Call Of Duty's and this game brings a feeling that no other has. That, GTA isn't just a game. Is a virtual life, that we're all waiting for. Also, i have played both versions because i have both PS3 and 360 and for those with the two consoles that down't know what version to buy, go for the 360 version. The visuals are almost the same, except the framerate is better on 360.
More reasons? You have vibration on the pad, you have achievements and you'll have have exclusive extra content in Autumn.
