Overall my gaming has always been for real-life games eg:gta and other's, when i brought this game my gaming changed.
I sat there on my ps3 twiddling my thumbs on how the hell they made such a brilliant game.The graphics show that they used the best and succeeded.As for the game it offer's many things the Hitman game's couldn't. For instance the freerunning ability your player has is well established and is easy to manipulate.And make's the game much more interesting and easy to do,without it you wouldn't complete this game.The combat area of the game is also very well done and again easy to control,especially to the newcomer's of combat games.The storyline is well thought up,obviously it had to have killing's and something to join them up.You begin as a fully trained assassin, but lose your rank and weapons and have to build your way back up the creed through these nine names.Back to the graphic's, the landscape is good, but could have done with a bit of improvement i noticed in some town's.
Overall i think the game is brilliant,i followed the Hitman game's and thought that this beat the lot of them.As for completion,it shouldn't be to hard , i did it in 3 day's , but the moment i turned it on i was obssessed.So if you like the Hitman's and have patience this is the game for you.
I have to say thank's Ubisoft for a great game i will look forward to the game's to follow...

Forget the negative reviews. No game is perfect, just completed assassins creed and thought I would write my review having done that! I am in no way a gaming geek and invested in this game expecting an engrossing, interesting, realistic challenging game. It is all these things. The storyline is interestingly not completely as it says on the box and although the non medieval side of the story is a bit slow it makes up an overall great story! A brilliant game with superb realism in all aspects especially the combat and the graphics are amazing....If your gut instinct says to go and buy this game with out reading to many reviews..buy it, play it and you will enjoy it....if you are trawling through the reviews and have doubts then dont bother as you will pick stupid minor holes in what is a good game..

this game is a fun packed ride of all types. Killing, free-running, climbing, skill, chase, missions, a great story and easy to get used to controls... All in all this could be one of the best games on the PS3.

This game is very, very, good. There is no question it has the best graphics on the ps3 (I have learnt to forgive the large amounts of tearing). I like it because (like Shenmue) it really makes you feel what it would be like to live in another place i.e. Jerusalem 700 or so years ago. Another highlight is it also really gets the adreneline pumping when your freerunning from guards. I almost didnt buy it because of some negative reviews I read but the criticsms applied to this it being repetitive etc I found odd. Games like GTA, Oblivion have had good reviews but I personally found boring and repetitive. Maybe it appeals to a more sophisticated gamer (you can tell it was made by the french). It has faults like the story is not engaging but as i said you forgive it those because it does so much more right. I think its technically gobsmacking, the sheer grunt needed in rendering all that use of light and shadow, the massive scale of the city, the amount of guards you fight and run from is like nothing Ive seen before.

Assassins Creed is one of those games that after a year of hype fails to deliver.
There are many glitches in Assassins Creed for exmple Soldiers gettin stuck in walls ect.
DONT BUY THIS ......TRUST ME
