This is an excellent piece of kit, which I am really pleased with and has saved me loads of money on batteries.
After looking around for ages and being a bit concerned about some of the problems with reliability I found an interview with Nyko where they said they would replace any damaged equipment due to a fault in their charger. So I took the plunge and have never looked back.
This is much better than any of the USB chargers as the Wii doesn't have to be on to charge the batteries.
Spare batteries are available from Nyko, so when they eventually can't hold their charge you can get replacements.
One point to remember about rechargeable batteries. The best way to use them is, charge them up fully and then use the remote until the battery is flat and then charge it up full again. This will ensure that you maximise the life of the rechargeable battery. Don't use the remote for 1/2 hour and then put it back on charge, as the capacity of the battery will reduce quicker. This is valid for any rechargeable batteries.

Bought this back in December and it's still working absolutely fine 6 months on and is still a godsend - No wiimotes dead, and no signs of shoddyness or anything. Works like a dream and saves us so much money!

I bought this charger dock when I got my wii and although rattly and poorly built it did the job. however after just 3 weeks it is kaput. nothing! zip! and yes I have tested the power supply.
Avoid.

One of my remotes works fine. Charges perfectly so great. The other one is just dead - like on so many other charging stations.
