If you are like me and do n ot like kiddie games with hedgehogs as the heros then you will be.........AMAZED! THIS IS AN AMAZING GAME WITH BRILLIANT GRAPHICS, KOOL SOUND EFFECTS, EXTRAORDINARY PLOTS, BETTER GADGETS THAN EVER BEFORE.

This is a good start to the next gen sonic series! It is very long because after you complete sonic's, silver's and shadow's episode you are left with a "last episode" in which you play as the whole sonic cast, and by the way you can buy extra missions from the US playstation store aswell!
This game has very good character and water graphics but very bad environment graphics. It can be very infuriating and annoying at times and you need a hd tv if you want the cutscenes to work without any pauses!
One good thing though is that there is a good variety of town missions that range from playing hide and seek with kids to making a dog follow you back to it's owner! When you collect all the gold coins you unlock free roam mode which lets you explore the town of soleanna which is divided into 3 sections: soleanna town - 1 1/2 miles(3 km) squared, Soleanna city - 2 miles (4 1/2 km) squared and soleanna forest- 3 miles (6 km) squared. Once you complete the last episode you get (amazingly) an AKON song in your audio room! Two player is the most fun bit I think, which makes up for some bad things about it!

The graphics are good, but there are scrolling problems and the game slows down to the point of pausing despite having an HD TV. The most annoying thing is having to start way...way back if you loose all lives, ' a cheap way of making the game appear longer' all SEGA have done is put me of buying any more of their titles.

this game is very repetitive and frustrating.
at the beginning this game seems fun and colorful, but quickly turns
dull and boring.
although this game is portrait to be great it lacks effort.
the new silver character at first is also great
but all he can do is fly 2cm and and lift up 2 cars and miss the enemy.
the towns are also boring and are tiny.
although this is what many sonic fans like about the games i find myself wanting to get a refund

The sonic game on the mighty xbox360 was pretty poor so this realise on the new ps3 will be the same. No changes in graphics, storyline, gameplay, anything! 90% of 360 reviews on sonic are bad so take them into account before spending [...] on the new ps3 title.
