Fifa 08s good but very similar to Fifa 07 October 1, 2007 8 out of 12 found this review helpful
The PS2 version of Fifa 08 is very similar to Fifa 07 it does have a few nice changes like it being easier to pick the defender you want and more flexablity of how you want to play as your goalkeeper. Also you can play as one single player which is good multiplayer. but overall it is largley Fifa 07 with an updated database which is smaller than some of the other versions of Fifa 08 such as the X-box360 version. I would recomend this game.
fifa 08 is great October 9, 2007 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
i think fifa 08 is the best game out for all the football fans, it has brilliant graphics and its better than fifa 07. Fifa 08 is more harder than fifa 07 if you try and score alot of goals its prety hard because there is a new way of making saves if you press square when you are one on one with a very good striker you can keep out the strikers shot. Manager mode gets better and better on fifa 07 it was ok but on this game it lets you have pre seaon freindlys and you can pick the teams that you want to play. Some of the teams have changed a bit for example manchester united most of the players look more real than they do on fifa 07. This game is worth buying its entertaning and i think its the best game so far this year.
lol how can you September 25, 2007 3 out of 7 found this review helpful
hmm how can you say it rubbish when it isnt even out yet give it a chance !! .. get pro evo and fifa and decide that way
A fantastic footie game. March 2, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This game actually challenges you to think like a footballer. It can be quite frustrating just like the real thing, but with persistence you reap the rewards; playing that wonderful through ball, making the long pass, or finishing what can be nothing short of a momentous move.
The graphics are spot on, the game play is smooth and works well to complement the quick pace.
The online option provides links to interactive leagues that are guaranteed to keep you entertained for hours. You get a regularly updated podcast that discusses the highs and the lows of the week, a great addition to the game.
In short this is a football simulation that requires effort to unlock it's potential, well worth purchasing if your willing to put the time into perfecting your skills. Once the AI no longer provides a challenge there are plenty of people online who will test your ability.
Fifa 08 October 12, 2007 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Fifa08 is a much more challenging game than 07. The single player "play like a pro" os a lot harder than it seems but it is still greatly entertaining. It is a lot like Fifa 07 which is odd because Fifa ussually goes for a new look each year.
