If i had online it would be brill but even tho i havn't its still a boss game to play!
The guns are really well put together and the scionarios(dont know how to spell tha) also are real life.
the only bad thing is is that there should have benn another 20-30 mission cause well too short.
COD 5 is coming an tha will be AMAZING!!!

yo i have always been a little sceptic about call of duty ganmes but this is one of the best games i have ever played. Not much more to say really but it really is better on the ps3 version as it has better gameplay, increased graffics (than xbox and pc version) and has better control layout. Go ps3 and roll on cod world at war. I can't wait. :) lol
Best Game Ever July 11, 2008
This is definitely the best ps3 game out now, and after nearly after half a year ago! I don't know what makes this game so good, but I've finished it about 4 times, once on hard and 3 times on veteran, and I'm still playing it! Then when you finish it an arcade mode is unlocked which lets you play your favourite levels or the entire game (in 1 sitting) in any of the difficulties, racking up points for your kills. I haven't even started on the multiplayer yet, and by god is it SAVAGE! There are many different game modes for playing and a greater selection of weapons than the SP, and it even allows upgrades on the weapons. It also has more maps than the offline multiplayer, which has no bots sadly but still a bit of fun with a friend or 3. How is it that that it was released way back in November but is still the best shooter on the ps3??! More companies should learn from this game. A great feature which seems to give the game more depth is the action button which allows climbing pretty much anything in range of you along with jumping. I also think shooting through walls is a good addition, more games should allow that these days. I would like to see infinity ward release more single player Champaign missions to play as the game is quite short (6-7hours). But overall I think it is the best shooter if not the overall best game ever! BUY THIS GAME!!
COD4 - A truly great intro to PS3 gaming June 18, 2008
If you were to be asked what game could best introduce the PS3 to a new comer - HERE IT IS Ladies and Gentlemen.
Graphics, gameplay, longetivity - it's got EVERYTHING you want from an action game - and soo much more! Absolutely stunning.
The title Game of the year Edition isn't an arrogant boast, at the moment it's a simple statement of fact.
The best game ever made...? August 14, 2008
This really is the best game ever made. I cant fault it in any way at all. I enjoyed the offline play, it is a little short perhaps but apart from that it was thoroughly enjoyable. The online play however....absolutely perfect!! Its really easy to use, as long as your online on the ps3 you will have no trouble just jumping straight into a game and getting on with it. There were quite a few problems with the servers when I first started playing the game, this left me a little annoyed have spent 50 pounds on it but once the problems got sorted out I was basically addicted!! I played day and night and simply never got bored. There are so many options to choose from as far as game style goes, the gun selection is great and the guns are especially realistic. The graphics are great, I was using a fairly cheap 37" HD tv and it looked amazing so I can only imagine what it would look like on a top end TV. If you are to buy the game I recommend you buy the add on pack, the newer levels add something extra to the game, with some great sniping and close range gameplay that was lacking in the original maps. The scoring system is great and you find yourself absolutely hooked on your stats. My personal favorite was my kill death ratio and I would play simply to increase my ratio. The challenges are also great fun, if you get bored of simply killing as many people as possible it gives a great alternative when you know you have to knife people or kill them by blowing up cars or if you have to play a different style of game to complete all your challenges. All in all this is just a brilliant game with so much breadth its unbelievable, the modern warfare style is a great change from the historical stuff were used to and I think its a huge mistake to take COD 5 back into historical warfare.
